Fresh basil from the farm made this ever-so-easy pesto!!!
Pick your seed: sesame seeds browned
Pick your base: basil
Pick your seasoning: fresh garlic and oregano with addition of a few red pepper flakes
Pick your cheese: parmesan
Everything is pulsed in a food processor and finished with 1/2 c. olive oil and 1/4 t. kosher salt. I put it in a small canning jar because it won’t last long…I’m making pesto buns soon!!! See Food Network Magazine 2013 for other variations of this recipe.
